Days of Praise! Day 6

In His Time

"I praise you...that when your time is ripe..."
(Ruth Myers, "31 Days of Praise" Day 6, p50)

Lord, we praise You that You have perfect timing.
You know and perceive all things, in their right place, according to their due arrival.
We cannot begin to fathom what You have in store,
In Your beautiful boundlessness beyond our clocks and calendars.
Your timing is ever more precise then any earthly ticking.
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Like a mother during her gestation period,
We wait patiently, knowing that when the fullness of the time has come,
What lies in wait for us will manifest,
What Christ will reveal to us will reveal itself in power and greatness.
We will not rush You, for all things must come to full term
In order to be properly formed, in accordance with Your exquisite design.
(Galatians 4:4)

Lord You are wise beyond measure!
Who are we to take a stop watch, to lay out a ruler, to plot out the distance?
We bow to Your unfolding, we dance in the dawn of the rising sun,
Rolling forth like a red carpet every day, revealing our path that we are to walk,
Step by step, minute by minute, inch by inch.
(Acts 1:7)

Though we live in mystery for now,
It is only to our advantage, as it strengthens our faith, our trust in You.
We honor You for this gift of patience! It is truly a fruit of Your Spirit!
But You will not keep us in mystery forever.
At the appointed time, Christ will come, all will be revealed.
The veil was torn at the precise moment,
And Christ's death was accurate, gracious, perfect.
(John 13:17) (Romans 5:6)

Magnificent is Your unfolding, Lord!
Even Christ waits for Your Revelation.
Moments are eternal for You, for You are beyond Measure!
(2 Peter 3:8) (Galatians 4:2) (Mark 13:32)

Lord, may we march in rhythm, in perfect step with Your time;
May we use our alotted time wisely!
Lord, how merciful you are to give us fair warning,
and sound teaching,
That we will not be ill-prepared for Your plans,
when Christ our Lord returns to us at His shining moment!
(Genesis 18:14) (Psalm 90:12) (Matthew 25:13)

Holy Spirit, fill us each day with Patience.
Fill us each day with Peace,
As we wait with lamps full,
With hearts full,
With joyfulness!
(Psalm 27:14)(Isaiah 26:3)

For we know that God has our lives in His hand,
Our hours are precious to Him,
Our waiting is not in vain.
It seems slow at times, but this is an illusion to rebuke,
For your timing is not a lie!
In due season, we will reap, and He will reap,
What has been sewn.
(Psalm 27:14) (Psalm 31:15) (Galatians 6:9) (Habakuk 2:3)

In the Beginning, before all we now experience, and all that is ever to be experienced,
You Were there.
And now, as Your creation, as we live and breath,
Our timing is always here and now, perfectly present.
May we remain there - never in the past, never in the future.
This is for the good of Your plan and purpose,
For the perfection and just cause of your works.
We stand humbly before You,
In this day, which You have made,
In all the wonder and glory You have in store for us!
(John 1:1) (John 7:6) (Isaiah 2:10-12) (Deuteronomy 2:4)(Pslam 118:24)

PRAISE REPORT!

"I have learned to rely on God's timing in new ways. A very difficult decision faced me, and I gave it to the Lord, praying every day, and even taking up a season of spiritual fasting for the first time. My relationship with the Lord became deliberate, intentional, interactive, and humble. By knowing that I was seeking an answer from the Lord in obedience, I knew that I didn't have to worry, and my decision-making process was peaceful, despite it being a major trial.

When the time to decide arrived, I knew that no matter what I chose was going to be right, for it was based on my time spent in prayer, fasting, and the Word, turning everything over to the Lord's wise council. I had faith in my decision because I had faith in God's renewal of my mind. Miraculously, people who has been giving me a hard time about what and how I should choose were at peace with my choice, even though it wasn't what they wanted for me, because they saw and understood how obedient I had been to the Lord throughout my process. So my obedience and reliance on the Lord not only strengthened my faith in Him, and in my own abilities to discern, but strengthened other's faith in me, through the working of the Holy Spirit in our midst and in our minds. Praise God for His promise that when we seek, we will find, and when we ask, we shall receive!"
