Praise Him for His Plans!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
(Jeremiah 29:11-14)
Lord we praise You for Your Knowledge of our entire lives!
Even before we were born, You knew us, You had a plan!
(Jeremiah 1:5)
We thank You for a worry-free tomorrow,
(Matthew 6:34)
We thank You for a guilt free yesterday.
(Luke 9:60)
We thank You for clearing our path today.
(Deuteronomy 31:8)
We know that in all things, You work for the good.
(Romans 8:28)
We know that
"With You, nothing is accidental, nothing is incidental, and no experience is wasted."
(Ruth Myers, 31 Days of Praise, Day 5, p49)
You are the mighty God of Joseph, who was tossed into the pit by his own brothers;
Who was enslaved in Egypt, and yet You knew what would become of it! You turned him into a leader and a salvation in times of famine. Lord how great is your Plan!
"Every trial that You allow to happen is a platform on which You reveal yourself."
(Ruth Myers, 31 Days of Praise, Day 5, p49)
Indeed, in our moments of weakness, we discover Your faithfulness and Your strength.
(Isaiah 40:29)
We magnify Your omnipotence!
We sing of Your Kingship over time and space!
We take each step in confidence,
knowing that You are the Lamp unto our feet and the Light unto our path.
(Psalm 119:105)
We thank You for the Holy Spirit within us,
which generates our faith that penetrates our lack of understanding.
(1 Corinthians 12:1-11)
Great are you, Lord!
Unfathomable are Your ways, and so we surrender to them, trusting You completely.
(Ecclesiastes 11:5) (Proverbs 3:5)
PRAISE REPORT!
"The Lord delivered me from anxiety - fear of the future, and obsessive rumination over a past of mistakes. When I gave my life to Christ, I woke up with confidence in the morning. I said, "Here I am, Lord! How will you use me today?" I did not know, and yet, that was OK! Because I knew that God had it all in control. Even things that seemed crazy and annoying always seemed to fall into place in some divine way. Whenever I start to spin into panic and I try to plan things way in advance, spending tons of time and energy trying to plot out my entire life, I turn to God and give it to Him. He sees the big picture, and I am eager to help him paint it, small brush stroke at a time."
