Gratitude for being part of His Family
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world
as a witness to all the nations..."
(Matthew 24:14)
" I exalt You because Your plan embraces the whole world and all of time...Thank You that Jesus, with His blood, purchased sons and daughters for You from every tribe and language and people and nation...that You yearn for all people everywhere to repent; You have no desire that any person should spend eternity without You!"
(Ruth Myers, "31 Days of Praise," Day 30 p106)
Lord, we are so grateful that you have opened up Your Kingdom to us all, through Christ Jesus.
You chose to establish a covenant with a particular nation,
Through which the Messiah would come.
(Genesis 17:1-2) (Luke 1:30-33)
Now He is here, and we have been adopted into that group of people;
Now we are all rightful sons and daughters, set to gain an immeasurable inheritance.
And how amazing that this fact gives YOU pleasure!
(Ephesians 1:5)
Lord Jesus, Your Love, Your Blood, is indiscriminate.
(Titus 2:11)
Lest we boast, works do not win points;
Lest we judge, race, creed, and gender is of no factor in our salvation.
(Ephesians 2:9) (Galatians 3:27-28)
How truly grateful I am, Father God, for giving all of us Jesus.
(2 Corinthians 5:515)
How deep and wide is the meaning, then, to love our neighbor!
(Mark 12:13) (Luke 10:25-37)
How honored I am to be part of this immensely diverse yet united family of Yours, Lord!
Praise Report:
Lord, thank You for adopting me. Thank You for keeping me close to You, in Your fold, and even when I stray, You go looking for me. You promised to never leave me, and because of that, I am no longer a slave to fear, for I am truly a child of God. (Galatians 4:7)
