Our Living God - "El Chay"

In 2 Kings 19:15-16 Hezekiah prays:

"Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, who are enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Incline Your ear, O Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord, and see; and listen to the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.”

Our God is LIVING!

Our God is the creator!

Our God is active, involved, attentive, and loving! He created us and cares for us. This care is perfectly illustrated in the gift of Jesus Christ who came to us. He walked this planet and as He did we see his compassionate care for people like us! Because He walked this planet He can sympathize with us in our weakness. He longs that we would come to Him.

He lives and is listening to you. Right now, speak to Him in prayer and know that He hears! Know that He cares! Know that He answers!
