PHILLIPPIANS 1:6
"...Being Confident of this very thing,
that He who has begun a Good Work in you
will Complete it
Until the Day of Jesus Christ."
This is one of those prayers that inspires confirmation, as opposed to supplication. Though it is certainly right to ask God for that which we need, try affirming your need as something that has already been bestowed upon you.
This is the basis of the Promise Bible Study, for if we truly acknowledge that God has given us promises, then we know that it will be fulfilled - indeed, it already is. So today, rather than asking God to give you confidence and help you complete your work, try affirming that you are ALREADY confident - that you know for certain - through the promise in this particular scripture passage, as well as many others - that God has a plan for you that is already in motion and that He IS already seeing it though; indeed, it is already completed.
