Exodus 19:10 and 20 Sanctification. What does it mean to be sanctified? To sanctify someone or something is to set that person or thing apart for the use intended by its designer. In Biblical terms someone is sanctified when he/she lives according to the purpose God intends – pursuant to His design and purpose.
Exodus 22:21 and 22. Widows. There are numerous passages in the Bible that portray our Heavenly Father’s compassion to widows. He will protect them against anyone that hurts them.
Exodus 23:22, 25 and 28 The Lord is our Protector. This is a conditional promise – IF WE OBEY – we basically have NO WORRIES. If we are living dependent on our Heavenly Father - He promises to take care of us and we can rest in Him knowing He will protect us. He also promises to take away our sickness and give us a full life span.
Exodus 31:14 to 17. The Sabbath – a Covenant to be CELEBRATED for generations to come. Symbolizes the six days of creation and the seventh day the Lord rested.
Exodus 33:11 Seeing His Face. The Lord spoke to Noah face to face as to a friend.
Exodus 33:14 Resting in Him. The only true rest and peace is found in the presence and favor and love of our Lord. Resting does not mean being idle – or self-absorbed. Rather, we have the peace and confidence that we are headed on the right path…
Exodus 34:6 and 7 Patience. To the third and fourth generations…
