31 Days of Praise! Day 13

Nearness with God

"...nothing can separate me from your limitless, intensely personal love."
- Ruth Myers, "31 days of Praise" p 39

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Romans 8:38-39

"The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us").

(Matthew 1:23)

Lord my God, as I draw near to You, You draw near to me.
(James 4:8)

As a child at the bosom of the mother,
(1 john 3:1)

So You hold me, so You keep me so very close.
(Psalm 23)

We separated ourselves from You; for our own desires, in folly, in deception,
(Genesis 3)

But You would not have it.
(2 Corinthians 5:18) (Isaiah 44:22)

You love us so deeply, that You brought us back to Your embrace forever,
(John 3:16)

Never to be separated.
(Matthew 28:20) (Hebrews 13:5)

We are Your adopted children, grafted into Your family - for Your pleasure!
(Colossians 1:12) (Ephesians 1:5) (Romans 11:24)

And even deeper is the mystery and revelation of Christ,
(John 1:18)

In whom we dwell,
(Acts 17:28)

And Who dwells within us.
(Ephesians 3:17)

As Jesus is of You, so we are of Him,
(John 10:3) (John 17)

And this is utter, exquisite Unity.
(Romans 6:5)

So I offer everything I have in hopes of showing You just how grateful I am!
(Psalm 86:12) (Romans 12:1) (1 Peter 4:11)

How all-encompassing Your Love, O Lord! It reaches to the heavens!
(Psalm 36:5)

It spreads itself across the face of the earth in all direction, in all dimensions - deep and wide.
(Ephesians 3:18) (Romans 8:38-39)

Truly there is no escaping from Your covering.
(Psalm 139:7)

Truly You walk so very near with me always, in my midst.
(Deuteronomy 31:6,8) (Zephaniah 3:17)

I glorify You, my God, for Your ever-presence.
(John 14:16)

And for Your promise that we will dwell in Your house forever.
(Psalm 23:6)

Amen!

PRAISE REPORT!
We share in the death and resurrection!

"I praise God that I have been made anew! That through Jesus death and resurrection, my old self is also dead, and I too have been born again! What a miraculous, amazing, utterly freeing gift this is! I praise God for the wonderful church that I have been attending that has given me this truth, this message so beautifully and powerfully. I praise God for anointed ministers who dedicate their time and effort to sharing the gospel. I praise God for the freedom to worship Him in this country. I praise God for fellowship with other believers who support and uplift each other, encourage each other in unity. I praise God for his Word, as it comes through his appointed elders and edifies the hearts and minds of His Body."
